The Dana PTO – Parent Teacher Organization – supports teachers and students at our school. Please join us by becoming a member -- $5 for family – to pay for after school clubs, help run book fairs to add books to the school library, pay for uniforms and eye glasses for students that cannot afford them – and run all of our after school programs. To become a member, does not mean you have to attend meetings or sit on the PTO Board.

Remember, your $5 helps enhance our after school programs – and keep students in a safe environment and off the streets. Therefore, we’ve been able to provide programs in art, tennis, swimming, basketball and so on.

If you would like to create your own club – or help in any of Dana’s after school activities – become a board member, help with community patrol or volunteer at school, please contact Diana Chapman at hartchap@cox.net. Or leave a message with the school by contacting the main office: 310-241-1100.

Opportunities abound at Dana Middle School to bring parents and community back to our campus. We invite you to explore the areas of your interest. Since many parents work full time, we encourage you to visit your child’s school whenever possible by attending our band performances, school talent shows, participate in fundraising events or help whenever possible.
