EMERGENCY CARDS...
Parents, your child will be receiving an emergency card on the first day of school. Even if you filled one out for your child last year we still need a new and updated emergency card completed. Please make sure all boxes are filled in and you have given the school your correct phone numbers. In addition, please include your home phone, cell phone, and work phone numbers. These numbers are crucial in case of an emergency. ALL EMERGENCY CARDS ARE DUE SEPTEMBER 5TH IN HOMEROOM.

LUNCH APPLICATIONS...
Parents, please remember to fill out your child's lunch application as soon as possible. If your child does not receive a free lunch please ensure that he/she has either a nutritious lunch or money to purchase a lunch from our cafeteria. Students with reduced lunch status must pay $.40 for lunch. For those students who do not receive a free nutrition or lunch the cost of nutrition is $1.00 and lunch is $1.50.

GET TO SCHOOL ON TIME!!!
Parents, please help Dana MS reduce its tradies. Too many students are getting to school late. The California State Education Code, Section 48200, states that it is the responsibility of the parent or guardian, or adult custodian, to see that his or her child attends school full time, and arrives on time every day. Please make sure your child is on time and at school before the first bell rings each day ready to learn. Thank you for helping us help you!

We have changed! We are now a PTO!
We hope by now you have become a member of Dana's PTO. Dana PTO is a non-profit organization for the support Dana Middle School students and staff. PTO membership dues is only $5. It is never too late to join!
